zGemma nline setup help

Deleting the other cams worked.

Many thanks guys, much appreciated.

(PS. What box is this a clone of?)

The softcam / emus section mentioned belo

i get drivers extensions lang picons security settings skins and systemplugins

Ok, you need to first install your softcam. Menu, plugins, green to download plugins, go to softcam/emu's (whichever is there) download mgcamd 1.38 (thats the latest), once installed, reboot box.

Now download the attached file and unzip the 2 files to your desktop on pc. input your line details in the newcamd.list file (using notepad) and save the file. now ftp both the files to usr/keys folder on your box, reboot box, when rebooted press blue, go to softcams, select mgcamd 1.38, press green to start, should now be working

what attached files? thanks for your help

dont use tspanel for cams on these boxes. if softcams is not showing i suggest a reflash of your image or download and flash sucmnsee's image from downloads

it isnt officially supported by vix and thats why it cant be downloaded via plugins in vix. it tends to cause conflicts with cams and always better to use the official cam plugins. i wont disagree that it will load your cam, some will have luck with it, but i have found it messes up chances of putting on official cams as it seems to superseed official stuff, if that makes sense lol

Makes perfect sense mate but the OP is using OpenATV which doesn't have a softcams section so you need to use TSPanel :peace:

that many mixed questions on here I was answering about vix lol just go here and choose your cam for openatv or here to install the softcam feed for openatv, ftp either file to the tmp folder and install by pressing the blue button and going to software manager, install local, choose the tmp folder and then choose your ipk to install

hi Guys....

I know its late, ive almost got everything set up... seems very smooth.

However im having issues getting my line into the box and cant seem to download Picons.

Ive tried everything i can see on the forum to get the line to work and im drawing a blank on Picons, when it trys to download them it doesnt load any of the 8700 or so that are there.

Any ideas?

Cheers

to further update the situation it is currently showing "no ecm info" in the softcams section...

also how do i delete the softcams which were already there in the image as these on CCCam and reading they could be the problem even though they are not active.

uninstall cccam completely when using mgcamd. also use 1.38 and make sure 1.35 is uninstalled. The mg_cfg i posted is set up for cloud ibox/dreambox (mips based boxes) and make sure mc_cfg is in the usr/keys folder with newcamd.list

How do you uninstall cccam?

cant see a delete option tho just trial and error?

Just go to plugins, press red to remove plugins, select the correct submenu (in this case SOFTCAMS) highlight what you want to delete and press ok. I suggest a reboot after uninstalling
