New Vix Hades zgemmastar 2s sucmnsee backup (will work fine on h1, h2 & s too)

Yes Make sure your line goes in the ECT folder on box select CCcam 2.30 in Softcam Manager Restart box
 
Have had 2 USB fail to download this file on to my h1 box today anyone no what to do as I don't have any more USB sticks left in the house
 
Do a Full low level format with a program like HDD Guru low level format tool Then Full windows format (not quick) Then just put Zgemma folder on usb
Ensure usb is not bigger than 32Gb

Cool will try , I have an expensive USB at 16 gb which works a treat for everything except this box will let you no tomorrow what happens as I even put Mt pockets latest firmware on it no problem but I want it for cable and it's really a sky one
 
Folks I would love to try this image but I'm already on Hades 15 so will try and recreate myself.

Have done a good job so far (I think) but one thing I cannot do myself is install the Fraggle 121 Sky skin. It's not in the plugin feeds and nor can I find anything on google for openvix.
Anyone know where I can get it?

Fraggle121 isn't doing vix anymore so unlikely to get a newer version unfortunately.
Someone start a pressure group to convince him as his are all great! Lol

I like the text font used in Fraggle but BlueHD is more comprehensive; for example the 'working' symbol in fraggle is the standard vix but the symbol in BlueHD is a smart spinning circle thingy, akin to the sly ring on the front of the box.
Another question. Having read the notes on your image I see you're not a fan of picons, but when you do enable them on your setup, are you getting picons for sly premier movie channels?
For some reasons there's several picons missing from the latest pack I've been using, which is the 100x60 transparent black.

well i did what you said with the 2 usb sticks , but still no joy in a bit of pickel on what to do now
 
That normally cures most USB s and has worked for some people. If you can get hold of the USB I mentioned they definitely work Done loads of boxes with it

Got it done after 2 more attempts just about to try and put a test line on it , never done it before this way so it should be eventful
 
Idiots Guide for adding your line with Filezilla
On your Box Menu > Info> Network > Get your box IP address
Open up Filezilla Host (top left ) Type in IP address Username root Leave others blank Press Quickconnect
Box should then connect to computer Left side computer, Right hand box
For N lines
On right hand side locate usr Double click it Then Keys Double click It You should now see 2 files Mg and Newcamd list On Newcamd list Left click/right click Then click View/Edit ( It may ask you what program you wish to view the file choose Notepad) You will see 2 samples of what your lines should look like either edit your line details or Delete up to CWS = (space either side of = )
Copy and past your line Less the N: in its place
Disconnect from Filezilla By Clicking the X just under bookmarks top of page
Press blue button on remote control >.Softcam Manager Select Mg 1.38 and start cam Restart box (not with GUI)
For C lines
Instead of usr/keys on box Your line goes Complete with the C in the Ect folder on box and select CCcam and start in Softcam manager and restart box

Folks can someone help me loading two N lines into a file. I see that the template in this image has two lines in it but when I add two lines in this manner it only ever works with the top-most line. If I deliberately add an extra letter / number into the top line (thus making it invalid) I'd expect the second line to kick in, but it doesn't.
Maybe you cannot add multiple lines in this manner and I've got it all wrong.
FYI - the purpose of this is to have a main line and a backup one in case the main one goes down.
 
Great guide, fund it very straight forward having just upgraded from a v5s box.

1 question though, is it safe to update kodi direct it wants download an update and says it will restart gui, scumnsee says never restart gui, was this juts for set up purposes ?

You can add several lines but only 1 line will work at a time Me personally After several years of doing this 1 good line is all you need If the server is good and goes down it automatic switches to back up server

Thanks mate I understand what you're saying. One question though, by 'backup server' you mean the second/third/fourth lines in the file? Or does backup server mean something else?

Hi Sucmnsee ,Sorry to bother you again I followed your instructions Menu
Setup
System
Storage devices
Hard drive settings
Change auto off
I thought it cured the problem but its still there , just some more info there is No Auto Off ,I can get 10 secs 30 secs etc upto 4hrs and then it says no standby , so there is no Auto Off any ideas m8
