Hi seen many image backups on here which I have used and are very good.
I recently came across the Vix4E2 image on this sit so many thanks to Lincsats for this.
I found this image to be the best in terms of speed and reliability for me personally.
I have decided to upload my own backup version of the image, which I have edited to my needs and which I think will help many other users.
I only use the box as a satellite receiver and to watch and record TV channels, I have kept it simple and not installed many of the other add-ons available as I feel it slows these boxes down.
Extract the file I have uploaded and insert on the root of a USB stick. Make sure the box is off and insert the USB into the back of the box and turn on, it should then start installing the image.
After about 10-15 mins the image should be installed and boot up. Its best to turn off the box after its booted up and to remove the USB you used for flashing.
Insert your hard drive/usb that you will be using for the zgemma. You should then initialise your hard drive/usb and also create a swap file. Once you have done that restart the box.
The image includes Cache Flush, the Blue HD skin and latest auto-bouquets maker from the openvix 3.2.003 image which includes the BT Sports Interactive Channels.
It is currently set at 720p in AV Settings but you can choose to set it to what your TV Supports.
Also if OSD is not fully showing on your screen go into user interface, position setup and set it to fit your screen.
For auto-bouquets maker you may need to change the settings for your own location and also change which bouquets you want to show/hide.
Cross EPG and Auto Bouquets are set to auto update daily at around 6:00am.
CCam 2.3.0 and Mgcamd 1.38 have been installed. If using CCam transfer your cfg file to var/etc or for mgcamd transfer your list file usr/keys.
Also using lincsats post the feeds have been reinstalled but not all plugins may be compatible so use with caution.
I may have missed a few things out or not gone into full detail but this is my first backup image upload. I would like to say thanks to all the posts on this site as they have been a great help. I just want to give back with my own settings on the image which I think work best and hope it can help others getting their boxes setup.
