how to install mgcamm 1.35a vix image

I have download loaded newcmd and mg cam but after editing the newcmd with what I have from my line supplier, it doesn't work, only the free to air.
On my kryptview I added, ip address, port number, username, password and desk keys and it all worked fine.

Edited the newcmd with the above as per below ip address, port number, username, password and desk keys

CWS = vm.server.com **** user-*********** password and then the desk keys 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
CWS = tv.server.com same as above

I have a VU Solo se with virgin, can see all the free 2 air channels but all worked on kyrptview, what am I missing please

In desperation I tried a factory reset and started again. I am using 40160 (bury) and have both tuners configured the same. On the providers though it states Yorkshire and then I get time out tuner lock. VM broadband all working and rechecked coax, help please

This is out of date now.

Softcams are downloaded direct to the box through the plugins menu from your remote.

Have a look here

C line is put in a file called CCcam.cfg and Ftp'd to ETC.

N Line is put in a file called newcamd.list and Ftp'd Usr/Keys

Just click the blue word "here" above and it will link you to a guide (y)

Thanks Bees. You seem to be the guru on here so hopefully you can help. I bought my VU duo2 box secondhand and when i go into all the settings there all be done. I.e. Softcam setup has CCcam 2.0.9, 2.2.1, 2.3.0 and mgcamd 1.35a and 1.38 and another call oscam? I have a CCcam line which i have put into var/etc then after your post above looked in usr/keys and noticed there was CCcam.cfg and newcamd.list so i edited the CCcam.cfg file and entered my CCcamline info (did i need to do that?). Dont have nline so left the other but looked and there is a nline in there already.
I am still having freezing issues.
My questions are: would it help if i do a factory reset and start again?
Can the old ncline info effect my current CCcam? which is still freezing
