ET8500 QUAD TUNER can you use 4x DVB C/T?

If paying £269 for 4 tuners, you could look at the Vu+ Uno 4K with 8 cable tuners for £229 but no internal hdd? https://www.world-of-satellite.co.uk/vu-plus-uno-4k-dvb-c-fbc

A DVB-C FBC tuner has 8 demodulators. This corresponds to a receiver with 8 conventional DVB-C tuners.
You can view, stream, or record 8 stations at the same time

does that mean that the tuner will only do 8 channels total or 8 individual channels plus all the other channels on those muxs, if the case is just 8 channels all together wouldn't the xtrend with 4 tuners be better as thats 4 separate channels plus all the other channels on the same muxs those tuners are tuned into = a hell of a lot more than 8?

Now you're being to technical for me lol:), I've not used the 8 tuners but the way I understand it each can record all channels on a mux on the same tuner as they are same as 8 conventional tuners which can do that but I could be wrong

oh that would be cool then based on vm usually having 4 channels average per mux upto 32 tuned channels pretty respectable (sometimes more some times less) part of me wish's id gone for a 4k box but at the same time i love the look of the xtrend with the big front screen lol. and be honest i cant think of any real advantage to the 4k boxs not like where gunna gain access to any 4k channels and after having sky q silver i dont think the current SD/HD channels look any better via a UHD box anyway (i do have a 4K TV) so glad about my purchase, though having 8 tuners in 1 would of been cool lol

Didn't know the Uno didn't support internal hdd thats a bit of a bummer? Looks like my next box might be a H7 or mutant 51 to go with my octagon??

looks like its usb 3 so other than the unsightlyness of another box poking out speed wise shouldn't be pretty similar speed wise seen as most drives never max the sata bus out anyway lol, defo looks like a cool box though
