Liverpool vs Manchester United

Saturday 14th October - 12:30pm BST

A win at home against our arch rivals will kick off our stadium and bring some confidence back in the team.

United are looking brilliant at the moment. Lakaku banging in the goals for them, Mikitariyan and Martial playing well. These 3 will cause problems for Liverpool next week.

Its gonna be tight and am expecting Mourinho to bring his busses to Anfield.

But am predicted that we will nick it. Liverpool 2-1 Manchester United

We (Utd) have absolutely nothing to be afraid of going to Anfield - all we have to do is carry on what we've done this first part of the season. The only thing that could affect us is the international break.

Liverpool have a couple of good attacking players in Mane and Salah but we have the defence to cope and we have the attacking players to cause massive problems for Liverpool's dodgy defence

1-2 or 1-3 in Utd's favour for me.

I have to disagree.
Liverpool tend to put the effort in against big teams and lose against the smaller clubs

I predict either a one goal advantage to Liverpool or a draw

On current form united should win but we all know liverpools record against top 6 teams over last couple of seasons etc dodgy defending is costing liverpool dearly as of late and lack of taking good clear chances aswell. Think it will be a close game but my prediction is liverpool 2 -1 :(y):

United do have the attacking players to cause problems for our awful defence, but the whole team tend to turn up against the big teams.

Moreno (as much use as t*ts on a fish) will get cought out yet again, dopey Lovren in a shambles , forwards that can't finish. Mourinho will have his team sitting back in defence, letting Liverpool pass it around getting nowhere (70% posession) and will hit on the break.
Pundits having a field day over LFC's defence.
Game over, weekend ruined. In a nutshell.

A early goal for United will set the game up nicely. Liver:poop: will then be chasing the game and United can then pick them off on the break, could end up a thrashing for the :poop::poop::poop::poop:

As a Liverpool fan, am not looking forward to this game. For the first time, Liverpool are underdogs whilst playing at home. All thanks to our shamble of a defence

Yeah same here been a kopite all mi life and never known the defence to be so shocking in my life etc if we put away all the chances we create we could just about get away with conceeding a few goals but dont seem to be clicking in attack at min sadly its a shame because liverpool on their day will blow away any team in league no problem :(y):

Liverpool is a small club compared to United, it's the 7th year now Fenway have had Liverpool and in that time on average they have spent 24 million, peanuts for a once giant of British football. On the upside Lukaku never scores against the big clubs. United will be set up just like when he'd bring Chelsea and they will sneak a 1-0 win

Well, that was a pretty shit match wasn't it :(

Disappointed in Man Utd, I expected a bit more from this match this season but looks like he got what he wanted from it.

The referee had a shocking game though - I think he gave pretty much everything to Liverpool and hardly anything to Utd.

Hoping for better at the OT leg.

Cant get my head around jose mourinho being so defensive with the current form united are in i would be going mental if i was a manc supporter and only one clear shot on goal is mind blowing in my opinion etc :grimacing:
