How do you stop a iptv stream on VU solo2

well cant say as Ive seen any posts asking how to STOP IPTV streaming lol
Im not sure what you mean.... the stream is active any time you are connected to the net & have the box set to any of the channels streamed... you cant exactly STOP the stream but you can stop using it by switching to your FTA Sat fed channels (IF you have a sat feed connected & setup to receive FTA channels). When you are viewing through your FTA Sat feed you are not using your IPTV stream.
Putting your TV on FTA Sat fed BBC1 could be what you are trying to do as this isnt streaming/using your broadband to receive signal, IF you only have an IPTV sub & dont have a Sat feed connected for FTA channels your box will be streaming 24/7 when ever it is turned on!

Yes I only have an iptv sub and no sat feed. I was just hoping that there was a button that would stop the stream like the square stop button when watching a recording.
The wife would just turn off the tv and not the sat box, so iptv would be streaming all day.

Im with you now... This is one of the reasons why when I make an image I include setting up a FTA Sat feed then create a bouquet for these channels, this gives you the option to place the box on none streaming channels when not in use as well as allowing you to record on the IPTV side while watching FTA (helps IF IPTV isnt multiroom activated & reduces unwanted internet traffic/usage)

yes that may sort the net usage but then the box wont update or scan, hooking up a Sat feed is simple way to sort it (assuming you have a sat feed available to be connected)
hdmi cec could be set not to wake the box & the timers for scanning etc could be changed to suite when the box will be in use... that would work but its not ideal
