Mikey B OpenAtv 6.1 Support Thread

You need to download the config file and stick it in with the line under usr/keys. It should be in this thread somewhere. I had the same issue.
Does it matter if it’s notepad or word pad?, also do I have to change the file type?
One last thing, do I still need the “keep alive” line as well?

Awesome build. Fixed issues with audio description, missing sound on some channels and Fatal error when scanning with authbouquets.

Just adding some steps in case it helps anyone:

1. Load zip file to usb and flash using the back usb port (flashing took 3 minutes)
2. Swap usb to your external hdd. System/Storage Devices/Initialize
3. InfoPanel/Plugins/Swap Manager (Red to activate, green to start, yellow to autostart)
4. InfoPanel/Softcam Panel/ Cam1/ oscam (Green to start)
5. Visit IP in browser E.g. http://192.168.0.27:83 and add your line
6. Use this guide for applying the oscam.
7. Setup/ServiceSearching/Tuner Configuration/TunerB (Change Network ID)
8. Setup/ServiceSearching/Automatic scan (this takes 10-15 minutes)
9. Setup/ServiceSearching/Autobouquetsmaker/Providers (change network ID)
10. Setup/ServiceSearching/Autobouquetsmaker/Start Scan
11. EPG/MultiEPG Settings/Show bouquets on launch
12. SCP with Filezilla the picons folder to /media/hdd
13. Reboot
14. Grab beer and relax

The file itself that you download doesn’t need amending, you just need to FTP it over to the same location as your line. (Usr/keys) Your line should be saved as a .list and under ‘All files’ type.

Once the config file and your line are in their you just need to start the cam. (Press blue, softcams manager, Cam 1, change to mgcamd, start)

I’ve got mine working perfectly now, I used Mikeys latest build from 3/12/17 and all previous issues with loading circle etc are now gone. It’s by far the best image I’ve used. Excellent build, many thanks to Mikeyb!

Hi Mikey,
First off loving the build. You have pretty much done everything for us. I am obviously doing something wrong because i have followed your instructions word for word and am only getting FTA channels after adding my N line into the newcamD folder in usr/keys via FTP.(only using tuner B) Pulling my hair out o_O

You need to download the config file, there’s a link somewhere in this thread.

Just download it and FTP it over to the usr/keys folder with your line.

You may need to low level format the usb stick before putting the files on it and flashing. Also, these boxes can be finicky with which brand of usb stick you’re using. San Disk Cruzer’s are known to work well.

Do a search for steps to flashing zgemma H1 and you’ll find everything you need.

Yes correct image for lc box
Just the zgemma folder (unzipped) should be on the usb stick.
No other usb or HDD should be plugged in when flashing.

If the correct image is on the usb the receiver should read it and the display change to USB update, then you press the standby button to flash.
