zgemma 2s IPTV VPN or not

Hi
Tried 2 different trial subs on my box everything seems ok apart from Vod but not really interested in that ,I have asked the subs if I will need a VPN still waiting for answer everything worked on the trial without it so will i need one and what are the recommendations?
The reason for asking when on cardsharing got scammed the trial was on one server but the sub was on a different server which glitched all the time.
I know the box is old but if it works it works in my book

Did you try it when EPL was on? If EPL worked then you will not need a VPN, this is the best way to tell. As for being scammed, only take your IPTV 1 month at a time, saves you losing a load of money if all goes wrong. Personally, I don't agree with needing a VPN, I say the provider should be sorting this, but that's my opinion.......god forbid this turns into another VPN argument thread :)

I have iptv on a star 2s and seems to run fine you may need a vpn if your isp has agreed to the high court ruling which blocks everytime football is on your provider may have things in place to stop him from getting blocked I would say see how it goes without a vpn and if your isp is blocking the iptv when football is on then you could always use a vpn @dt99 get where you come from with vpn arguments

@dt99 ((I don't agree with needing a VPN, I say the provider should be sorting this)) A provider can only do as much as they can do to try a fix for the blocking for users who dont want or can't use a vpn, But don't forget it's not the providers sevice being blocked from there end, It's the user's end being blocked by there internet company so it's not really far to say the provider should be sorting this as i say it's not getting blocked there end, For £2.50 a month for a vpn what's the big deal ? and also there are lot's of internet services who do not block because there not part of the epl court order ie SSE, Post Office, Vodafone, Digital Ocean, Brightview Dynamic, There are lot's more that dont block, Do you not think the user could help there self as there the ones being blocked? A provider of cs won't come and put a dish on your wall just so you can get service LOL

I know what you mean I just personally think it's an easy excuse for providers and they should sort it out, as a lot of them already do. Anyway, everyone is entitled to their own views and I'm not going to challenge this as it has been done to death on these forums

Yes dt99 now i get where you are coming from (easy excuse for providers) And yes i agree some providers dont bother doing foock all to help there users and that is out of order,

I don't think many have actively done anything to sort it out actually. I think a lot have just stayed off the radar and haven't been blocked yet, telling you that they have circumvented the problem purely because it is still working - knowing full well if they ever do become blocked they can fob most customers off with something along the lines of "they have changed the way they are blocking it now".

They have changed the way they are blocking it now, There doing it in real time no warning at all, Before the way round it was to change ip but now other things need to be done to,

yes watched the man city game at weekend both with little glitching but was ok the 2 subs were 6 months or a year but reasonable, as they say not worth doing month or 3 months

If you watched both subs at the weekend that could be down to supplier not been caught or your isp is not part of the EPL block that is happening some people do have vpns for if it is isp that is blocking content but then if it's provider that's getting blocked a vpn on your box probably wouldn't work

If you watched the game then you don't need a VPN.....YET it may change in the future but who knows. I would never do a long sub for fear of losing money but if you are happy that's all that matters.

Thats the things the subs are cheaper long run 6mths with monthly costs for 2 month £10 difference but a lot cheaper than sky

Ok had a month sub been working fine up until yesterday seems all the hd streams are buffering and unwatchable but prior to that all streams have been ok without a vpn
Any ideas

Could be oversubscribed server. what internet speed your getting .other people in house using Internet .and a lot more

Definate ISP is blocking the streams now nothing at all now, sat down to watch football all off, Anyone recommend a good free or reasonable VPN to use with the zgemma 2s
