OpenATV EPG Channel numbers

Revoke

Newbie
Hello,
I have been following this thread here , I now have channel numbers on my EPG but BBC1 - channel 5 are numbered weirdly 115 178 ect.. then sly1 is 106 107 108 and so on..
The link had been removed to what seems would fix it in post 7 or 8 on that thread, I did try PM the person with the file but was told to post a thread as I would get help quicker.

Thanks!

Thats because the custommix adds the numbers to sd order so either change channel swap to no or try the custommix in here http://www.techkings.org/zgemma-sta...pg.html?highlight=channel+numbers+on+bioheads post 6.

or if your feeling confident try the method on post 12 only use the py verion on openatv 5.3 it will not work on 6.0

I found that shortly after and it now works! Thanks

Only thing I have wrong now is two channel numbers on the infobar, can't seem to find anything which is set to yes when it shouldnt be though.

Warning for only for openatv 6.0 and 6.1

Epglist.py
Code:
https://github.com/davesayers2014/ATV6.0-Components/raw/master/EpgList.py
Copy all the text and past in Notepad and save as Epglist.py

UsageConfig.py
Code:
https://github.com/davesayers2014/ATV6.0-Components/raw/master/UsageConfig.py

Copy all the text and past in Notepad and save as UsageConfig.py

Now ftp both epglist.py and UsageConfig.py to usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components and save the pyo versions to desktop reboot box

Please note this can break on software updates so use at your own risk.

thanks for the advice, but one more thing. i have moved the PYO versions to desktop but do i then delete them from the box?

Send the original files back and delete the .py files power off using the back button then power on. How old is the image? Make sure it's dated within the last few weeks

copied the old files back and now back on, thank you.

i flashed the image last week downloaded from the openatv website?

I have channel numbers on the infobar & channel list, just not on the main EPG?

Try downloading the files

I'm up to date with latest commits so there is no reason why it shouldn't work.

I've seen you've posted in wooshbuild thread, what service are you using? I.e. sat or cable. If sat you can download autobouqets plugin from extensions that prints channel numbers on service name but only works with sat.

Yeah I'm using dual sat tuner, I have auto bouquets maker installer and use it for my bouquets and also thought there was a add channel number to name option but for some reason I can't find it? Checked a few times in the settings?

AutoBouquetsMaker doesn't add channel numbers on EPG and ATV doesn't have an option by default.

You have 3 options

1. Keep trying to use my Custom py files

2. Use CustomMix with AutoBouquetsMaker to add channel numbers to service name http://www.techkings.org/threads/channel-numbers-in-bioheads-openatv-epg.113722/#post-641517

3. Download autobouqets from extensions that has the option to add channel numbers to service name.

Using options 2 and 3 will only work with sat not iptv but also brakes SNP picons so SRP picons need to be used. If you're just using sat then AutoBouquetsMaker with CustomMix maybe your best option

Ok just to understand exactly what I'm doing and what everything is exactly.

You mention autobouquetsmaker and auto bouquets from extensions? Are they different things?

By extensions do you mean plugins?

Which why do you recommend and why?
