Freezing problems

Totally unwatchable for me right now on most channels, freezing all over the place, worst it has been. No area issues, cables all double checked. Tried CCcam, Mgcamd, Oscam, all the same.

Got me baffled at the min and cant really do much more investigating because ive got so many projects on the go at the minute and not enough hours in the bloody day especially when your on call aswell lol:grimacing:

I had freezing issues with snr level in the mid to high 90's, my signal did not drop even when freezing. I think the signal level is a bit of a red herring.

Same, My SNR always stays at 90%, AGC has always been 28% ( I think Low, but has always been fine).

I think it's either provider problem, or Virgin have done something. Some people are saying changing provider has stopped the problem, hence surely its a provider issue.

personally I think it's something that virgin have done which has caused an issue for servers, be it messing the cache, or not working with particular server side software or something else.

One thing i have not read yet or seen posted anybody using a providers box with or without issues, does a close friend have a box you can check to see if that is also having issues.
It would not surprise me of tests adjustments and other things in progress to test responses from different places around the country.
Dont forget cat and mouse has been going on for years and all the fun in between.
Many years ago things got interesting as boxes had no lan and all went off and a line of code changed and what was needed was new code and forums went into meltdown with boxes down and new codes posted and boxes came back to life until they changed again and remember 3 times one day.
Lucky we had good lads that made new image with auto update code so box fixed itself.
Now we have a new issue and only time will tell of if and when it maybe fixed and all routes need to be rechecked, top quality cables and splitters, good lan devices, checking providers with new tests to see if better.
All this causes me stress and 15000 posts of shite according to Dave :fuckyou:

For me it proves it is a provider issue. A test line from elsewhere and not a single freeze. Back to old line, freeze 3,4,5 times a minute. Back to test line, not a single freeze.

My daughter lives 1/2 mile from me , she's got same box so we swapped for the day, no change both boxes freezing from same provider.

That's because you're using the same provider, change lines and it will all become clear

Change lines "to a provider that doesn't have the problem" and then all will become clear :fuckyou: Your challenge is to find a provider that doesn't have the problem, time to try out looks of Test lines and hope the freezing occurs during the time you test.

It's a server problem , your provider needs to tweak his Oscam settings. One of the servers i use has fixed the problem 2 days ago and now running sweet again.

Yeah im convinced they have tampered with something somewhere and i know they plan on launching a few more uhd channels etc
