Update on a well known service that went under !

You take your chances with whoever provides the service---but what prat in their right mind registers a pirate operation as a legit company at companies house? [Silly Dilly comes to mind LOL]
Reaper.

Stick with none uk providers at least and i would avoid european servers all together just to be extra careful,As above what donut goes legit.

oh I don't know, the directors of a limited company aren't responsible for paying debts owed by that company in it's demise.
They could have paid themselves £5000 each per week in wages from the company, leaving 250k in the companies' bank account for the powers-that-be to squabble over and whack out between themselves when the time comes.
I don't think their earnings from the company can be touched, so in short, they could both walk away with half a million wingwangs each, fines paid, knuckles rapped and retire to Barbados

They owe £260k in tax and VAT, which means they must have made millions.
They've got £250k in the bank, which means there's a lot of money stashed somewhere. I think we can safely say, you'll never see them riding a pushbike

But, as we all know, the saga will continue whilst the moguls such as sky, bt, virgin etc continue to charge extortionate tariff prices and are allowed to put a stranglehold on television.
We are all pirates and will remain so, as long as there are providers available to give us cheap access to the tv medium.
I say "long live the pirates"---[but don't register at companies house LOL

I think they've given up to an extent.
With sky go you can use your friend's or family's sky subscription on your devices...this would have been unthinkable a few years ago.
Instead of fighting it full on, a battle they can never win, they are actively competing with it.
My nephew pays full price for Sky, his brother and his dad have their devices connected so they are effectively sharing one subscription, no dish required.

A reminder to all customers to go with a small provider who stays under the radar, and possibly a reminder to sellers not to get too greedy? Those who advertise on social media with websites are just asking for trouble imo.

A shame for all the resellers who bought credits to sell on and have lost a lot, but as a normal customer you have to accept this could happen at any time - that's why it's advisable to stick to shorter length subs.

Funny how they thought they could black out all EPL games and highlights to appease Sky but thought they could still stream their movie channels! Gotta think maybe they knew how long the process would take and fed people lies to keep new subs coming in whilst knowing they were on borrowed time.
