Iptv payment

Newbie
I have a couple of providers. I pay both by paypal which is fine. My backup provider will now only take creditcatd payments. Does anyone else pay there provider this way. I am a little dubious to do this. I guess paypal has your details as much as a credit card?
Anyway does anyone else pay by card. Its a shame as its my best provider they have been really reliable.
Thanks

Depends how they are taking the card payment. If it was something like stripe then I don't see it as being an issue, but if it's literally giving them your card number, expiry date etc then I would be seriously considering another supplier.

It gives stripe as the only payment method available but when you click pay now it asks for card number, ccv and expiry date as normal secure things do I guess.

But very wary of giving card details on an iptv site even if I have log in etc. had card sharing and now in many versions for years and always paid via paypal.
Not sure what it saying stripe on some drop down list with no other options protects you anymore than anything else.
Its a strange one thats why I asked if anyone else pays that way?
Thanks

And does this stripe method require me to give credit card details as mentioned above?

thanks

More and More Suppliers are moving away from PP Payments, and using other methods.
There is nothing dodgy about this above, as other payments methods are just as secure as PP, but take less £££
We all seem to be addicted to PP and there are many many other methods and companies offering the same Way, But less in FEES.
I would not worry about the above, as I have deal with this method and not had any issues.. Pretty standard mate..
But, do what you think and feel happy with..

No your right I have bought many things where you are taken to a portal to pay by ecommerce then returned to merchants site but this a page on their website that is asking for details which made me dubious to say the least.

They have a SITE, Nuff said.. Any provider that has a SITE etc Set-Up for payments etc and also on the tinternet Advertising is a No-No with me anyways..

it could be that paypal have suspended their account which iis not unheard off when paypal suspect something isn't legit so they have gone to another method.

If ur trading as a business on PayPal u need to be reg with company house otherwise PayPal shut ur accounts,
Seen it done so many times to traders including myself

I know plenty of self employed people who are not registered at company house that have been using pp business account for years.

Well done grog thats exactly whats happened i think. Although the way they ask for credit card details on their site isnt secure in my opinion which is why im not doing it unfortunately and cant be bothered geting a prepaid card etc for what is my back up provider.

stripe are a very safe service many businesses use them your supplier will not be able to see your card details.

This is where PayPal have all the other payment processors like Stripe by the ballaches as end users have never heard of half of the other companies and instantly think something is not right.

It is a shame as PayPal can then do whatever they like with users accounts knowing the fallout will be small. PayPal are nothing more than a credit company, not a bank. They have all the same rules to stick to as any other credit company but PayPal always use the T&Cs as their get out clause when they wantt to hold £1000s of pounds in your account frozen because "You agreed to their T&Cs" or even freeze £25. They carry on like they are the law when in fact they are no different to Provident or QuickQuid.

I hate PayPal!

They closed my accounts because I used a VPN, I complained and they said its in their T/C's. I wish something else would come along and challenge paypal.

So you have thousands of pounds every month going through ur business account with paypal and they have never asked you for proof that you are reg at company house?
