Because there on a different system to ireland I suppose as we still have the HD sly sports channels plus they have a lot more channels than we have.
Oh and mine is gone down today too

All backup and running again.

REASON WHY WE ARE CLOSING IRISH CABLE IS THAT THERE ARE ONLY A HANDFULL OF IRISH CABLE SERVERS AND VIRGIN CAN IMPUT LINES BOUGHT BY US INTO A SIMPLE OSCAM PROGRAM AND FIND EMM DETAILS WHITCH TELLS THEM THE CARD NUMBERS, WHEN THEY HAVE THE CARD NUMBERS, THEY SIMPLY KILL THE ACCOUNT. HENCE WE GOTTA CLOSE AS WE CANT KEEP GETTING NEW CARDS ETC. THEY ARE ALSO SENDING FALSE EMMS TO CARDS WAITING ON RESPONSE. MOST OF YOU WILL NOT UNDERSTAND THIS, BUT THIS MSG IS MAINLY FOR VIRGIN IRELAND THAT HAVE BOUGHT LINES FORM US . WE WILL STILL CONTINUE TO OFFER IPTV AS THEY CANT SEE OUR CARDS FROM IPTV :)
 
Can't see it being bull squirt as he could name his price for cable if he wanted, whereas iptv suppliers are ten-a-penny.
Also, not many likely to take his iptv when their cable sub with him has ended prematurely, they'd go elsewhere, so unlikely to be a ploy in my view
 
They're saying because the Irish Market is so small VM can easily block their cards making it too much hassle for it enough money. That service was unwatchable by the end.

probably most of the recent posters on this thread m8, sadly, for their clients ,a couple of servers have 'gone down' recently. If you're one of the few that still has a viable line, just perform the usual checks on your side of things
