tinkering with the settings of my new zgemma h9s, i must've enabled additional voice-over for the visually impaired... can't find how to get rid of it again... :grimacing: anyone know?

ok, cheers! no rush, but if some time someone could point me in the right direction how to do this properly, i'd really appreciate it.

never factory reset a zgemma ,just follow the flashing guides for the zgemma and low level format usb ,umpteen threads in there with same issues, and usb only inserted when box is powered off any other usb devices removed and setup from scratch.
Save any lines and cfg files if needed before flashing.

Usually done the same way but files need to suit the box you want to flash, boxes can be a fecker to flash with usb sticks not seen and to use a good quality usb stick 8gb kingston ,cruzer, and integral i use for my boxes.

So, I tried and tried and tried again flashing my new H9S box. Online and using usb, nothing worked. - Remember Homer Simpson: "So you've tried your best and failed miserably. The lesson is: never try!"

I guess I'll just have to wait for an improved update.
Still, thanks for all support!

used a decent toshiba 8GB stick, properly formatted to FAT32 and all. But "took your advice onboard and ordered an 8GB Kingston data traveller today. Maybe that'll fix it.

Yes, just found this here: "Unzip the download and put the folder and other files onto USB. Turn off box insert USB. Press the reset button on back of box opposite side to power button. Hold reset button while powering on and keep pressing reset button till air digital icon on front panel changes colour then release and wait for it to boot up."

Will try that! (didn't realise there's a reset button!) Cheers!
