just seen this post and the guy has a h3 and has a problem with the zgemma not picking up the lnb
wonder if i had this problem the other day
i should have aimed at 28 to see if it worked at least

leave the dish where it is
cable from lnb to motor on the ground then to box
set the motor to the dish direction and scan
then il know the lnb has signal
i was reading the thread in link and he says about power inserters
what are they

When using longer cable runs voltages will drop on the cable, mutiswitch and the LNB causing them to not function properly. In the previous post it was a long cable
Run but interesting reading considered
In line amplifier increases the signal
By 20db so it must prevent a reduction
In power to the l.n.b

Out having a wee test on a lovely evening
So what am I doing .....
I have left the sat dish where it is and testing if the h2s will power the motor and lnb
And so far is all good
Just doing a automatic scan on different lnbs that I have
Red rocket lnb - big thumbs up channels are scan. Tested on 19
Big red lnb - works just the same as the rocket. Tested on 13. The motor never never for some reason

I have some what moved on today
I got a pole today
I was just passing a place in Belfast and called to see if they had and cheap spares gong for free, yea they had
Got a 4 foot job for free happy enough with that
So most of to day has been messing about in the sun with my dish
I did have 19 23 and 28
Working great
Then I lost it all. So I have wired up now to my main box in the living room
And I don’t think the h7 is moving the dish
So brought in my h2s power supply for it
See how it goes
Lost the setup something when clearing up for the night
not even sure she is moving the dish, may not have my settings right on the h7
some thing to work at
so dont even have 28 at the min
