Box gone off

Hi guys i think vm have turned off my cable feed tried box this morning and all i got are the 5 non hd channels the signal is good epg is there all channels there but it says no client's streaming so i have had a good 12 months or so or does anyone know if they are having problems at all :(

No you don't
You only need is a connection that is alive

You don't need to buy their internet or TV package

But it does no harm having one to keep the connection alive

If you are still getting 1 to 5 SD then the cable connection is still working
If it was off you would not get them as nothing comes up the cable if it's unplugged
 
No you don't as i have had my box fully working since i left virgin about 12-14 months ago and went to Vodafone they don't bother switching your feed off
 
Run network test to see if all green? If all green box has an internet connection,does cam need to be restarted?
 
if 1 - 5 are working, the VM cable is still working, which means the line isn't.
go to softcam panel and click the green button to reload the line/restart softcam
if still no joy, switch off the box and router at the socket, wait a few minutes and power up the router only
once it's fully rebooted, power on the box, then restart the softcam again, if still no joy, you need to contact the line provider
 
Internet is fine have started cam again all good there but when i go into the signal finder on the one that it is on normally predefined transponder it shows no signal if i swap to user defined it shows above 85%signal above 93% agr so i am not sure but have message provider but not sure if it his his line
 
an engineer would have to go to the box in your street to disconnect your feed which wouldnt happen as they like to keep them live so all they would have to do to get you up and running is send you a quick start kit. so i would also say its your line.
 
it could also be that a node has gone down in your area happend to me last week. look on vm website i am sure you can check if there is any issues in your area on there.
 
thanks not sure on that could not find anything on there website this morning but how come i can get signal on one user defined transponder but not on the predifined transponder ?
 
you're digging too deep, the box is connected to VM otherwise you wouldn't get 1 - 5
it's connected to internet as you've verified this
the line isn't clearing the paid channels.
just throw a test line in and it'll work perfect
