hi guys wonder if you can help me.. iv tried flashing this image a few times on my H2 but no luck. Loaded the file on to the usb renamed no force to force .. plug usb into the back and it comes up flsh but never reboots and stays on Flsh. i have left it for 1 hour before and still no luck.

Hi, just re-flashed online and all went OK up until restoring the settings. It said it backed up, no picture after reflash, and when trying to reinstall manually it said no backup file? So I have rebuilt settings but am struggling to find where to turn on my 'Favorite' bouquet. Is it still available?

Did you reinstall your line after re-flashing?
have you done a scan?

Hi, yeah its all working. Its just that I had a 'Favorites' Bouquet that i populated with my channels. But now i cant find the option to turn that on in the settings now. has it been removed in this newer flash?

no, you can still use favourites, press the tv button on remote and browse to the channel you want to put in favourites and press the menu button and select add service to bouquet. Now select Favourites (TV) from list.

repeat for each channel.

ah ok, I will fix that in the build, for now go to http://yourboxip in a browser and then on the left click on the Bouquet Editor link and then you will see a button 'Add Bouquet' press this and then give the bouquet a name, ie 'Favourites'

That will create the bouquet and now you should be able to either do as I mentioned above to add channels to it, or you can add the channels using the web interface where you just created the bouquet.

There is no Favourites (TV) to save it to?
The setup scripts deletes all bouquets that are installed with openATV as it includes lots of unwanted international bouquets. I thought the favourites bouquet was then created when abm was installed but obviously not. If you restore settings then the favourites bouquet is restored so this is only an issue if you don't restore settings.

I think/hope I have fixed this in the setup script now, I will test later the the wife's gone out.

Ahhh yeah thats worked, didn't think about that. Brilliant thanks

In the latest version is the backup location and backup restore folder out of alignment as says it backed up, saw it in filezilla, but when trying to restore my settings it said there wasn't a backup? or maybe the locations have changed between the latest and the previous?

no, the build doesn't touch any of that side of it, i install a few plugins and skins and change settings for them make sure your usb is mounted correctly as /media/hdd

Now you have the build setup see if you can restore the backup by pressing blue button and selecting restore settings from right hand side

I've just reflashed one of my boxes with Grogbuild FreeRange and the favourites is now there by default. I've then restored my settings without a problem

Didn't notice the new Freerange and did it the green button way. Just re-flashed again using Freerange and all good, restored backup. beautiful!

Good man

just noticed my favorites has deleted itself. so whats the best way to re-flash to latest with favorites as standard. i've already got freerange, so can i use the green button for the latest?

Press the Menu button and select Setup -> Service Searching -> Autobouquetsmaker -> Configure

Is 'Keep all non-ABM bouquets' set to yes? if not change it to use and then press the green button to save changes.

On one of my boxes (h52tc) it's set to no, on other VU+ it's set to yes but I can't find this in the settings file to make sure it's set to yes by default.

I just checked the autobouquets maker source code and it should default to 'yes'. Not sure why it didn't unless it was already set to no in your backed up settings

Hi guys is the only way to update the build now is doing the freerange way or can i just download online or download the file and put on to usb

Cheers
Andy

I am afraid so, my time has been limited lately so not been able to put builds up for individual boxes, there are images available for download from http://h52tc.com/downloads/ but these have not been updated since the end of May so will need a software update run after it has been flashed
