Currently have mag 256 but might upgrade if there is anything for iptv than the mag 256,ive heard good things about the formular box so looking for advice

Formuler z7+ I own has a Mag style app myTV online and all the benefits of Android. Kodi, Spotify, Netflix all that stuff. There are so many boxes out there probably as good as the Formuler if not better for less money but don't get me wrong it's a nice piece of kit if you are upgrading from something slightly slow I had a very sluggish Zgemma 2S so it's like a dream speed wise.

What would you recommend as a better box than the formular and mag 256

ive had the formuler Z7+ and it is a cracking little box, it has its problems but thats down to the developers software, soon as they fix the bugs it will be good. like rpidemon says above it good for the android side too you can install all your favourite apps.

for the mag256 they are ok too but they are for iptv only, but its down to your choice there both good boxes

Formuler Z7+ £89.95 from WOS

The trouble with it is that it is not Android certified so it is running Android firmware designed for tablets rather than TV boxes so there is no 4K Netflix and a lot of the apps are not optimized for it itv player, iplayer etc so it's a case of turning on the cursor and using the ch + and - to move the screen up and down. Smarters and other IPTV apps are fine so it really depends on what aops you are going to be using. It handles 4K on kodi like a dream if your Internet speed is up for the challenge.

I think for Iptv mag is as good as anything.Iptv is down to suppliers really not the box, with a good supplier it should be good on any modern box but as said above you do have the additional benefit of apps with an Android box,it all depends what you want to use it for.

That's right it really does depend on the overall use. If you have decent speed Internet and a decent provider your set for any box if it is just IPTV and not all the other bells and whistles go with a Mag.

Depends on end-user requirements
.stability mags are exceptional. But variety, z7+ Runs myiptv good provider is superb..
and Android
I love 322.. but also like the versatility of the Android app.on z7+
Love or hate

I have been using a Mag 256 for a long time now and did have an android box on another TV. Unfortunately the android has died (bricked) and I was considering buying another, however I have gone for the stb smart app on the tv (Samsung Smart) instead. I am very impressed with it. It actually loads up slightly faster than the Mag. I also have a basic Sly package (£14.10p per month) which gives all the advantages of recording and catch up. My wife would not consider mucking about with a memory stick! A fleabay Netflix (£8 for 6mths still going on 4 devices!) is on the tv apps. As for other apps since the android box died I have been using Showbox, Freeflix, etc on my Samsung Tablet, downloading films not available elsewhere onto a stick and then plugging into tv. I have found this a more efficient way than having the other half 'grumbling' when you get the occasional buffering or you can't find a link quick enough.
Dont misunderstand me if I had my way I would sack Sly tomorrow but life is about compromise particularly when she tells me what to do!
