iptv drop out

hi all. this is a long one to explain etc so be kind.
i have sky fibre running at 80mbps approx
using sky q hub router etc.
ok i have 2 4k firesticks that i use to watch iptv with several iptv subs.
the 80 mbps does in the evenings tend to go down as low as 30 plus with the kids on wifi etc iphones etc. but i would think thats well fast enough for iptv viewing.
firestick in the living room when viewing will always keep freezing say every 5 mins or so but does vary. sound and speech out of sync various times. films will usually stop and go back to the start ?
really just use it to watch normail channels bbc itv etc but does it on these as well. all this via wifi from the sky q router. the 2nd firestick i use always seams to work ok although this is not used as often so maybe will be the same problem ? the iptv subs i have all seam to freeze and all have the same prob so that suggests its not the iptv server ? i have done lots of router reboots etc changed the channel selection from auto to various diff ones (only on 2 band not the 5 band ) maybe this will solve it no ? having done alot of research alot of people have had loads of issues with this sky q router, this being it keeps dropping out/disconnecting for a split second ? i have had sky round to check my connections etc. put me a new master socket in checked speeds everthing ok ? please note the iptv subs i use my mate uses the same and he has no issues apart from the odd freeze and channels not playing but nothing major. he is on sky at 30 mbps max. hope someone could help me its quite painful just wanna get it to work reasonably well. thanks for reading. chris
sorry forgot to say i use smarters iptv stb-emu

Could be sky shield affecting it but then I have shield settings on mine and dosnt do it and I'm with sky and have sky q router at 40mbps what apps are you using to view iptv as for the reduce in speeds bb providers do slow speeds at peak times

I prefer stb emu to smarters easy way lol you could always get a test line and see if it is the app your using or your bb provider

Is it just happening on a particular provider or all of them it depends how your iptv is all setup

the problem persist on all the iptv providers. sort of had this issue with sky at my other house. that was just standard broadband with sky.
the issues have been like this since i moved house and gone onto sky fibre 80mbps. the iptv set up on the apps i dont see any issues that could effect it ?

Sky is shite,
There new router is awful, I used to be with Plusnet but went to sky as broadband was £10 cheaper a month and I wish I hadnt,.
U need to put sky router in modem mode and use a 3rd party to improve connection

ok i sort of understand etc. 3rd party do u mean another router .
suggest try the router i had before going on fibre (sr102) maybe try this if it will allow 80mbps ?

You do realise that the 80mbps is only an estimated speed that they can provide Im on sky 40mbps but I only get around 30-35 hard wired on a good day on a bad day around 20-30 mbps

yes i understand that. but 30 mbps is more than enough. i just think the router is disconnecting for a few seconds ever so often, more than ever now ?
