Best sound bar

Bose, which stands for Buy Other Sound Equipment.
Bose is one of those brands that people think are high end, but in reality far from it.
Guess that's what happens when you have a good marketing department. But when QVC start flogging it you know what level they are at.

do the latest soundbars as so small carry the punch and can use a soundbar to give it more feeling.

I added an old yamaha soundbar into my setup and its big and heavy with 21 directional speakers and a sub in a lower case on wooden floor brings out a lovely earth quake.

I think they might need a road test before buying as you dont want a crap sound with your top of the range tv.

LOL chenks i know you must have never owned bose, Bose has very good sound any good hi fi shop will let you test

actually i have.
Bose is usually grossly overpriced for what it is.
you only realise just how poor and overpriced they are when you replace them with a quality brand.

horses for courses though. i you think Bose is good then great, but don't put them in the bracket as the good brands.

they are mostly overpriced for what they are.

Do you think this is the case for all bose products or just their soundbars?

I was looking into getting a pair of ANC headphones (QC35's) and bose seem to have the best reviews around. ANC headphones are very pricey, if you know of a good alternative, please let me know.

all Bose products tend to be overpriced for what they are.
i wouldn't be basing a headphone purchase on reviews to be honest, you need to listen to them and compare them others you have listened to. one persons idea of "these sound great" is another persons "they sound terrible".
it comes down to your equipment, the source, and how much you wan to pay.

chenks you have slaged of bose but still have not recommend anything ? What would you recommend goodmans LOL I have bang & owston hi fi and i swoped and speakers over to bose as i think the bose speakers have more bass then the bang & owston speakers that come with the hi fi

i'm not offering any recomendation other than going to listen to any equipment before purchasing (and using a source that you have to use youself).
if the bose work for you then great, i'm sure you'll recommend them. i won't though.

this is an interesting read from 2006, and i've not seen or heard anything from Bose in the 10 years since that would suggest any difference.

of course, that's just one persons opinion and hold no more weight that someone who holds the opposite opinion.

I can recommend a sound base, I have one and my god it pumps out some sound! Canton DM75 is under budget and it a good bit of kit. Take a look on Richer Sounds Website :(y):

Get a home check cinema with wireless speaks . Sound bars are not all that . Iv had a few in the past and a home cinema 3D sound is miles better .
