Any update on getting the channels back...

Hi All,

Are there any updates on the sly channels coming back? reading various posts I have heard "there is a team working on it" but that's all really.

You never hear anything else.....just like when HD channels went many years ago it was the same thing "there is a team working on it" but never anything else.

Is there even a team working on it??

Probably not. Probably won't be back.

Difference with HD was that was hardware paired so would cost a fortune to reverse engineer the hardware, if even possible, whereas this is all software based, which is positive in a sense as it means it's more likely to be cracked - but it probably still won't be.

Well considering SLY ITALIA has been in the dark for about 18 months, NO, i dont see it happening soon...

Yes but that too is hardware paired. But anyway all of this has already been done to death in the main thread in the rant room section so pointless going over it again.

Didn't realise there was a rant room area....will read up in there.

There's an epic 100 page thread on this matter as well haha, might want to just skim read if you look at that thread.
