MEGA Abm keeps failing

Ive just got my os mega. Its openatv 6.0. Downloaded the abm plugin, but when i go to scan, it fails. And still has the german faves etc. Any ideas?

Have you set it up properly for whatever service your trying to scan?
If your on about the German bouquets that are installed by default you need to remove them yourself and also remove program listen updater.
To remove the German bouquets press the TV button on the remote, highlight the bouquet you want to delete, press menu, press 8 and select yes. Do that for all the bouquets you want to remove then press menu again and select purge deleted bouquets.

What should the configure page look like? I think its right but im not sure

Cable. Sky for freeview channels. So both

Don't have virgin so don't really know much about the setup for that. Have a look through the general cable forum section as no doubt there will be a setup guide in there

Its the sky tuner that making it fail. I turned sky uk off and the cable on and it worked. How is that so? Lol

You need to disable the satellite tuner before scanning on ABM or else ABM will try to scan satellite channels and if there's no satellite connected to it, it will give the tuning failed error.

But there is a satellite connected to it. The only reason i want the sky free channels is becuase there are certain free sky channels you get that you dont get on cable

I have set both providers. Still no luck. Its the sky thats causing the problem. Yet im still able to get the free sky channels. Just not the bouquet list

post up some screen dumps of your settings may help shed some light

Will be something to do with the way you've got it set up ... I wonder if any other member has a fully set up image for this box which they could send to you - may be worth asking.

How old is the image? If you goto abm providers order and set virgin to top do you get a crash?

I've just got the cable lot of bouquets set up and added the free sky channels into the bouquets via open webif. The only problem is I get the message tuning failed I the morning after its updated. Trying to work out how to record now.
