Life after Kodi?

yeah RD is the nuts, always lots of HD links.

the exodus search problem is solvable too by grabbing an api key off trakt.

trakt, tmdb etc are no longer allowing addons like exodus to have blanket access to their Db's to search, so users will have to grab their own keys and link their accounts individually

I think it is not wrong to say that life after kodi as we know it over the past couple of years is going to be different. Not a bad thing, in my view, if it takes the "preloaded kodi box" sellers (and users) off the scene. The demise of tvaddons and numerous popular addons (including exodus) as they were and the likely road ahead, has imho been accurately reported and analysed here:

That was indeed necessary a couple of days ago, but perhaps as a sign of things to come, a new exodus zip has already been posted that takes care of all that, which can be downloaded/installed as usual, and trakt re-authenticated (again as usual). See
https://seo-michael.co.uk/how-to-install-exodus-for-kodi/. Other settings (incl. debrids) appear intact after the reinstall.

Don't forget the URL resolver zip too!!

The "Fully loaded box sellers" have indeed caused a lot of heat, when these sellers and utubers make money off this, then that's when the issues started. The normal "man" in the street will not side load zips to fix problems and the more manual the fix is the less likely box sellers can give aftercare so a lot of people will go back to sly/gpo etc

You might find exodus had been down for about 3 weeks I use paradox in bedroom and never have a problem with any sources available on it plus pay £9 a month for iptv from them and just like any other other iptv out there there will always be new addons pop up to replace dead ones that no longer work

Perhaps unexpected, tvaddons has been allowed back online by the courts!

This has just happened after a complete and utter mess up by the Canadian claimants/plaintiffs going after them, so much so that the judge has ruled “In considering the balance of convenience, I also repeat that the plaintiffs admit that the vast majority of add-ons are non-infringing. Whether the remaining approximately 1% are infringing is very much up for debate. For these reasons, I find the balance of convenience favors the defendant, and no interlocutory injunction will be issued”.

For the whole story, see https://torrentfreak.com/tvaddons-returns-ugly-war-canadian-telcos-kodi-addons-170801/

The claimants are appealing, naturally.

tvaddons is now at https://www.tvaddons.co/ - given what happened, the claimant is going to find it much harder to shut them down again in such a heavy handed manner, so I suspect the site is not going to disappear en masse any time soon.

I can now put the Indigo tools back. ;)

Exodus Kodi has now been very much improved and is getting better with this comment. The good thing about it is that the addon's additional tools and plugins are very much updated and functional. The Scrappers that used to be in it are updated, which is why we can get the best content that we cannot find it manually. The sad part is that the addon is not being maintained by the original developers anymore. It is now categorized as a fork or what so ever. But it works better that is what I know. Now finding Exodus is not a hard job. It is available on Kodil, XVBMC, super repo etc. Here is how you can learn how to install and run Exodus Kodi on v17 Krypton.
