No network id's on scan

Reset to factory settings first, then:

power off box/power on

menu>user preferences>delete all channels

power off/and on

then do a full scan

Thanks again for your reply, at present I still have channels which are visible, if these start to dissapear like the network id's on the scan, then I'll try your method.

a factory reset and scan takes only 15 minutes, I've done my box 3 or 4 times in a day when it's been playing up :(y):

Sometimes i choose a different network other than the one i normally connect to to see if it's any better, often it isn't but it's usually worth a try
 
Thanks for the info on the steps to take, to which I will if any of the channels I can view at the moment start to disappear.
