SkyQ Skin

Is it possible to have the preview picon also change while scrolling in channel selection screen. Currently picon and EPG changes but preview picon changes to highlighted channel only on pressing ok.

This skin is really impressive. Just trying to customise the picon set. How do I match the picons up with the channel list from my IPTV provider. I have all the picon sets that work with the sly channels (obviously the channels arent clearing). So how do I assign the sky sports mix picon to the sky sports mix IPTV Channel in my list?

Hi Chabs, just wondered if it possible to get an update on the skin I have regarding the new sky sports channels and no picons & preview picons, is they an update file or a way of updating the box to get all channels with default picons back to what they should be?
 
I can get the channel icons to display but the info bar channel icons will just stay with the sky q logo im using zgemma i55, atv, I've tryed the wooshbuild, still same, if some can pm the correct directorys, ive try skyq/picons And tried hdd/picons on the USB, no luck, I can change the logos using setpicon or piconmanget addons up the centre logo still remains the same skyq picon, help I'm pulling my hair out
 
The SkyQ skin is wicked.

Running SkyQPicks.sh manually, getting the following error:

Image 1 updating from random entry in new.txt
wget: can't connect to remote host (72.93.243.211): Connection timed out

nslookup shows 72.93.243.211 is web1.3a-ns.net but I don't see that referenced in either of the scripts. Any ideas?
 
Chabs help... i use ItalySat image but i dont have usb name but sda, so i have media/sda...so for me its impossible

Create a folder name SkyQ either in your media/usb or media/hdd or /hdd or usr/share/enigma2/SkyQ location of your reciever

Copy the downloaded folder named picon to media/hdd or /hdd or media/usb or usr/share/enigma2/SkyQ

Chabs great skin, really impressive!

I installed it last evening and had a play around with font sizing and have it looking like yours...

However the only section that looks oversized is the Bouquets list (the list when you press 'EPG', then 'TV' on the remote)... Is there a way to adjust this font sizing?
 
    • Hi I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction...


      I am trying to modify the font color for the Titles in the Bouquet EPG (right pane where it shows what's currently on and description) - the titles are a feint blue which is really clashing with the background and making it really hard to read.


      I know that I need to edit something in the skin.xml but I can't find what I am looking for, I am not sure which "screen name" is for that part of the image.

Thanks for a great skin, it really helps the box pass the wife test!

I am having one slight annoyance though, when running a plugin (Youtube or Kodi) there is a 1cm wide blue bar visible at the top. On other skins this is black, so not an issue.

I am running Openvix V5 on an Edison OS Mega.

Do you happen to know which png is used as "background" for these plugins, so I can edit the top of the file to black?

This is because the skins background colour is blue. Other skins is black or undefined.

Thanks for the quick reply!

Is this blue background done by a PNG file, or is it set with a RGB value? I am happy to live with it if it can't be changed, but I don't mind trying to edit things either!

Its defines in the skin.xml. could you please post a screenshot. All screens should be covered with a background png unless this is being called by the plugim code.
