Rebooting router every day

Hi.

Recently upgraded my set up from a Zgemma 2s that was running Wooshbuild v5 to a Zgemma H.2S running Wooshbuild v7.

The only issue I am having is it seems the only way to get my IPTV channels to work properly and without unwatchable buffering is to reboot my router every day. Didn't have this issue with the old box.

Nothing else has changed in my setup, I am using an additional router with a VPN wired to to my box.

Hope someone can help, i’m sure its just something simple. Could it be somwthing with the Cache?

Cheers in advance

These are the instructions to what I am having to do each day to get it to work properly.

1. Unplug your box power cable and leave it unplugged,
2. Now unplug your router power cable,
3. If you are using homeplugs please unplug all homeplugs connected to your router and box and leave them unplugged,
4. Now plug your router back in and wait for it to connect to the internet,
5. If you are using homeplugs please plug them all back in now,
6. Now plug your box back in,
7. Doing the above procedure will reset the connection between your router
and box and solves the problem 99% of the time

Just turning your router off resets your connection to router have you tried not having your vpn on as that can slow speeds dramatically

A lot of iptv providers have systems in place so you do not need a vpn..
If you run yours at the same time this is without doubt what is causing the problems..
As suggested try a stream for an hour without using a vpn and see if it changes anything..
I have used open vpn a few times on my mutant but all it does is cause the hassles your experiencing

Willing to try this without my paid VPN. But no idea why it worked fined before I upgraded to v7? Thats my query?

Tried it without the vpn and everything is working fine. Just weird how it was working fine and then not. Is it safe to run without a vpn? That was my only worry

I run mine with out vpn all the time not been blocked yet but my supplier has put something in place to stop it at present i would advise to run it when football is on as blocks are happening

Using a VPN nick's some of your internet speed so maybe your speed is running slow with vpn on try a sd channel, You should only need to use the vpn when the epl games are on this is when you will get blocked by your internet company,
