Playstore access blocked?

Hi I'm experiencing a problem with all android devices in the household unable to connect to playstore via NordVPN, are they blocking VPN access? Nobody else seems to be discussing the same problem from a google search, anyone else having the issue?

is your vpn outside the UK.?
your devices will be registered in the UK so a non UK IP will not be able to access the playstore for that device

Just switch of the vpn while you access the store
Yeah but there's not just my mobile to think about I don't want to have people having to ask to access the playstore. I can add bypass script for the playstore I suppose but just wondered why I can't find anyone else discussing it.

It's one of the NordVPN uk servers, so it should be fine if it's a region issue.

Forgot to check this, loads fine through android browser on my mobile. It has to be something in a recent update as I suspected. No android devices(mobiles and tablets 6 of them) are able to connect via the play app via my wifi... So I'm not sure my workaround will work unless the app connects to a different server than on the web?

I did finally find some others talking about it but no mention of a VPN, I could understand if it was just one or 2 devices but it seems any mobile trying to load the play app will get a no connection error via my wifi, they connect fine through cellular data. It seems clearing data works now(tried previously ended up disabling/uninstalling) at least to get it to load, but if I stop and start the app again it's back to square one.
