VM CISCO ROUTER+ WIFI ROUTER

i added a belkin wireless g router in beside tv in front room along with a multiswitch years ago and noticed speed is only 54 but if i swap to cisco upstairs it jumps to 130? i have lan cables all around house but it was with other pc that wifi is suspect.
question is with what could i replace the belkin router for faster connections?

Hi cacti how are you? Sounds like you just need to replace your wireless g router with a cheap wireless N router to bump you up to the 130 mark. That or WiFi extender linked to your Cisco router. Your 130 speed is probably more but the adapter in the phone/laptop/PC your testing from probably won't support faster than that.

Hi m8 i have just got the new hub 3 cbn as speed test and reset was only around 10 up and down on a wired pc lol.
