recordings query

Et10000 has a fixed feed 28.2 on 1 tuner
tuner 2 uses a diseqc which includes 28.2,13,19.2 and motorised dish on whatever it last viewed on other box.
setting up recording on 19.2 as seen in timers and flashing rec symbol 00 mins nothing recording?
maybe an odd one and anyone with ideas?

what tuner have you set for recording?
I have a bit similar in that my tuner A has 13 19 28 , but tuner B has only 28 on it, also have tuner C on cable, and as fallback on 2nd box,
but I can record fine on both boxes, not sure exactly how I have mine set up [ I'm away from home just now ] but I think its on auto

No set tuner for recordings as if i set recording on 28.2 the first one records but second does not with diseqc.

am I wrong in saying you have a 4 way diseqc with 28 19 13 +motor on 4 ?

yes diseqc uses tuner b

I really have no idea how you would work fixed 28 19 13 AND a motor through a diseqc for a 'slave' box [ as such for the motor ]

solo2 is used to drive the motor.
et only uses a feed from the quad lnb and depends where solo2 was set at.

Thinking of getting another sat tuner for box to allow another sat feed.

I 'THINK' your easy solution is try and use fallback to record off the motor

I need to setup solo2 again as slow as feck and change 28.2 feed to 13 and spread my tuners around,i have 3 other boxes i could add into the nitemare also,still getting my head around on the motor with so many channels.

never used the fallback tuner listed
