DVB-T2 ON OPENATV 6.1

Hi wondering anyone can help with this, I have a Hs2 running openatv6.1, can I use a USB tuner with this image and if so what drivers would I need to download . I'm in Ireland & trying to set up saorview on the box as a back up to iP TV. Any help would be appreciated thanks

I know this one works but it's no longer produced. You might get one on eBay?

Hi thanks for the reply ,I have this one attached but I don't think it's going to work, is there a specific driver depending on the make of is tuner?

You need to find what chipset it is and then have a look through the driver list in plugin downloads.

The OP is asking about a USB tuner, I would imagine your using it through a built in tuner that you don't need extra drivers for?

Yeah iigot it working using this USB tuner and I'll have to look up the driver I used it had something like RTL in it's name . I downloaded a few different drivers first and I think that stop it from working so I flashed the box and just downloaded the one I needed and it worked

I used the plug in
dvb-usb-rtl2832
This one worked with my USB tuner
