2 feeds in to the house

Hi wondering if anyone can help, the brown box outside my house has 2 feeds going in to a splitter that then feeds in to my house, would this have a detrimental affect on my signal in anyway?

The second feed was shared from a neighbour until they got mine up and running, instead of disconnecting it and connecting mine once the feed was installed, they fed both in to the house via a splitter.

It shouldnt have a detrimental effect on your signal if its been set up properly. I have fitted my own three way splitter from the brown box you refer to and have run my own cables to different rooms all of which work perfectly.

Remember too strong a signal can have just as much effect s too weak a signal but the former can often be remedied with an attenuator.

Power levels ore are around the - 1 range and snr is above 40 on the router,

Are these readings not actually ok and within acceptable norms? If its affecting your service get vm out as if i am reading your post correctly you are subbed with them.

Need full stats to make a judgment, anything from -6 to +10 is within acceptable levels, dbmv levels should be around the 38 mark
