5000s vs F5s

Hi All,

I am taking the plunge and changing my f5s for a blade media box. I have a few reasons for this but the main one is that I want to record shows from time to time.

With the F5S I would set the timer using the EPG and it was hit and miss if the show would record. Is the Blade 5000s going to be more reliable with that regard?

Yes it will be more reliable, no problems with timer recording function, box boots approx 1 minute before the program
starts when in standby. Single button recording function from the EPG.
Generally you will need a USB HDD rather than a USB stick though.
