9991 menu and scrambled FTA channels

Hi.

I'm following the tutorials to input a cline into my blade bm7000s but i cant get the 9991 menu up. i have pressed it with a picture on, the EPG menu on, and the channel list on, yet none bring up the hidden menu options.


I'm obviiously missing something simple, but dont know what.....

Also, i am getting some fta channels, ie 'daave ja vu' coming up as pay and saying scrambled, even tho its through astra 28.2e

reeally stuck as to what i'm doing wrong.

Dave is scrambled through sat set up, but FTA on normal digital ariel.

Just put the box on any channel and press 9991.

Before you can enter a line you need the correct firmware

Have you upgraded the firmware here

thanks bees.

i havent upgraded firmware, as im sure the box firmware was dated feb 13......could be wrong unless the firmware you suggest is not official...(no malice intended). anyway i will try that tonight.

as for the scrambled channels, that explains it, cos i watched it before on a freeview box

Official firmware does not have the 9991 option.

Load the one I have suggested and you will get that option.

Casperlad, as Bees described if you get the PFW and flash the blade you will get the 9991 menu, and your box becomes a new GREAT box.. good luck :)
