A Pop up Blocker that Works !!!

Well just thought I would post this link.

I have used the malwarebytes software and various other methods
to try and stop some bloody pop up on my screen.

It starts in both my browsers IE or Firefox.

It basically does this,

In a box on the bottom left, it starts running various ads.
It flashes up "find-all-you-want" at the top of the Ad box
then redirects me to various pages, you know all the usual

betting,
adobe update,
system clean up, computer running slow,
computer back up

Anyway been trying to get rid on and off over the last few weeks
but can't find the program anywhere on my computer.

Stumbled across this simple solution,which I am probably the last to hear about lol
and all was sorted.

I'm going to block all ad blockers here as we depend on ads to pay for the site.

Without ads then we would have to be greedy like the other forums that charge for VIP etc!

As a member we have very few ads anyway!

As for pop ups will have to give that a try Bees.

I use Adblock plus, but have disabled it on Techkings using the icon in the top right hand corner of the screen.

I've got no problem with ads on pages as such, it just seemed
like I had a malware / popup problem.

It was not specific to this site, just every few mouse clicks while browsing I would be
re directed off to somewhere else and this seems to have sorted it.

As soon as I opened any browser the pop up appeared then I would start getting re-directed.

It sounded very similar to this but I could not fathom it.

hey bees,just to be on the safe side here i would at least download,run a scan,and delete all detections,with adwcleaner from bleeping computer.if it finds anything post the log as that will give us an idea what was plaguing you.this doesnt sound like ordinary popups to me.sorry i suddenly realize ive never posted a link as html code,but just google adwcleaner and download it from bleeping computer.cheers.

I use Firefox with ad-block plus & ghostery together, they block most popups & stuff.
