Adding line to other enigma 2 receivers

Hi a few mates want me to add a line to a cloud ibox and a vu 2 box or something like that, Is it just the same as doing it with the zgemma box using dcc?

Thought id ask here as you guys are most helpful/active

Yes exactly the same dependent on what softcam they have running on the box but same process yes

Is there a way to check if they previously had c or n line? because i presume im going to have to remove the old line then put a new 1 in?

Or do i just do to where the ccam or mgcamd file is and just edit it all out so its blank then put my new line in?
