Hi I've flashed my box from v5 whooshbuild to v7 and the zgemma remote used to turn my tv on and off as the box worked .I've enabled it in hdmi cec but it still doesn't work .any ideas please .thanks .

what are the settings in hdmi cec on the box ? (menu -> setup -> system -> hdmi cec)

Mine are: (first 3 should be enough to turn tv on/off)
Enabled :Yes
Put tv in standby : yes
Wakeup tv from standby: yes
Regard deep standby as standby : yes
Switch tv to correct input: yes

All others are set to no for me.

A couple of things I've noticed on my boxes :

1. Some HDMI cables don't seem to work with CEC
2. On one of my tv's if the tv was turned on manually before the box then the tv doesn't turn off when the box is put in standby. If the box turns the TV on then it turns off fine.

I've set them as in pictures mate .but it still doesn't turn the tv on and off like it did with v5 ...it's the same hdmi aswell that I've always used .

On my Samsung tv I set the zgemma to cable box on the discription and now when I press source on my Samsung remote it's no longer highlighted but I've got a new icon next to it that says mini dla server .this wasnt here before .1512487836153-527519181.jpg

Wooshbuild 7 has minidnla turned on by default for sharing media around your network.... it's a feature.

That's a good idea actually .so if I recorded something on my box I can watch it on my upstairs smart tv

Yup, it's a standard feature of all E2 images. You just need to enable the minidnla server in network settings.

Does this enable it mate . Does it look ok .do I have to tick tivo support or strict dlna
