Windows 10 Aoc monitor

I bought my lad a aoc monitor for his birthday as a second monitor but no matter what I try I can't get windows 10 to detect it as a 2nd monitor. Or even detect it at all. Tried it on my PC with windows 7 and works fine.
Can't find any drivers for windows 10 but it should just work I thought.
Anyone had this problem.any help or advice will be much appreciated.

Have you tried going into your bios and allowing both onboard graphics card and external graphics card?


Its something like integrated graphics device as “always enable"
 
Off the top of my head (and without seeing setup), try changing resolution on computer (with 1st screen), plug in AOC and restart PC. as cactikid states above its possibly out of range on initial settings.
