archos 10i sound problem

hi folks, how do i get the sound to work on an archos 10i which i recieved, it is brand new, your answers are appreciated.

Are you sure its not muted?
What sources have you tried playing on it like your own music or something like youtube? Try changing the media volume as something is playing.
Try using the headphone connection also.

If your still having problems check to see if there is a firmware update that may sort the problem for you.
