archos tablet upgrade

hi all
i have a archos 7 internet tablet and there are loads of apps i cant get to work can anyone tell me if
i can up grade the OS as i think it is 2,2 android

thanks for the help hiteck..have done the update but to no avail it wont run some of the apps i was looking at
i will have to do a bit more research

I would take it back to factory settings then update firmware.

Then reinstall the apps again one by one.

When you install each app, after a latest firmware update it should automatically install the latest and more likely compatible.

You don't mention the name of these Apps? Are you sure that the Apps in question are compatible with your Tab?
