Update : just installed new 9.0 version. Froze TK surfing. Will not let me scan selected files with right mouse click as ver 8.5 did. Just unistalled and dl'd Avira free. Back to normal now

IMHO AVG 9.0 is a loser

Agree with Endo - also has compatibility problems with other software, will ask you to un-install microsoft security essentials befor install.

I can only verify that this "update" is absolute crap.

I wasn't real happy with 8.xx to begin with, but 9.0 is junk, imo.

i only have the free version of the 8. version and it works okay for me, dont like the sound of the new one
