Yes i would try that ,attach leads and run good car for 10 minutes to try and put some charge back in and might need a rev at 2500 rpm to get the juice to flow.

Some leads are short but need a heavier and longer ones if vehicles are apart and batteries on the wrong side.

Are you a member of AA or RAC or have Breakdown cover on insurance?

Aye leads are fully strecthed an just about reaching. A have aa breakdown but dont really want to bother them for this we all that is going on if i can sort it myself.

Well AA cover may have stronger leads and a battery on board if your one is gone.If you pay for a service why not use it as your car is bust.Cars do need a run at least once a week to give them a fighting chance.
