Best Tv operating system for IPTV

Hello people.
I’m going to dip into a new smart tv.
Any thoughts on which operating system will run IPTV the best

LG/Samsung/HiSense are the only Smart TV that will run IPTV via an app, I believe, so that reduces your selection. Why not just buy an Android box and run it that way?

I think many people (most?) these days when going for a new TV are likely to consider Smart TV's to be able to take advantage of terrestrial catch up, netflix, you tube, plex etc. etc-not to mention IPTV!

I have 2 samsung and 1 Hisense smart TV's and IPTV is simplicity itself to install and works very well on all 3! It's very convenient be able to use the TV remote rather than having to switch to a separate box. Another small unexpected bonus with the Hisense TV was not having to pay the one off app fee as required for the Samsungs.

Be careful if you.buy a Sony You can't directly download any apps from the play store Sony have there own setup called opera t.v.There is ss-iptv app which requires a connection code to be activated on the ss-iptv web site
