Black Hole or Vix?

Hi, I've been using my brand new second hand Duo for a few days now, and i'm finding Black Hole quite cumbersome and unintuitive to use. Is Vix any easier for a newbie like myself?

yes a few of the tuts/guides refer to vix setup,is box clone or original?

I am happy to say it's an original, and came with the remote and a hard drive already fitted :-)

Cool :-) So I assume Vix IS better? Where abouts can I download it please, and what files do I need to back up so I don't lose my channels? Cheers

Also, I have got a green error screen a few times, usually when I try to record something or rewind something (I installed 'Permanent Timeshift' yesterday)

Is that a sign that the firmware could do with updating/reinstalling?

There seem to be a lot of plugins and stuff on it which I have no clue as to their functions...

I have now uninstalled permanent timeshift!

Hopefully Vix has a more user-friendly GUI and control setup?

I tried vix but am now using open pli

only file needing saving is your line data,all images can be directly downloaded from wos for vix.
i presume you have 2 feeds from sat dish to allow you to record.

latest image is apollo30 and also download to pc
