Blade BM8000 Firmware

Sorry I don't have the firmware, the official firmware isn't even on the
blade media website yet, so you may have to wait a bit for the patched version.

Are you trying to set it up to run cable ? If so check with your supplier.

Their website is advertising it as a sat and terrestrial combo ??

Thought it would be sat and cable myself, they advertised the original BM7000 combo like this
with a small print option of being supplied with a cable tuner rather than terrestrial so it may not be an issue, but
I would check if I where you.

Are you going to write a tutorial and review
when you have had a play about ?

Hi all....I am new to all this but was hoping someone can helohelp

The question is I have just bought a blade media bm8000 combo and have plugged my satellite leads into into it. I only get standard freeview channels but I'm not sure what I have to do as this is my first box of this type....can someone please point me in the correct direction or send me a personal message.

Thank you

You need to load a patched version of the firmware, with this box
you can then press 9991 on your remote, it will bring up a hidden menu.

In there you can enter a "Line" which is a bit of code which clears the $ channels

You will need to pay a server a subscription for a line

Post a request here

For those out there this is the 'patch' Firmware I used for 9991 access.

Hi

If you download the file and unzip it and place it on a usb drive, plug that into the box.

Then enter the menu, then external device, then file manager. You will then see your usb, select the file by pressing ok and it will start to flash it.

Good luck.

Hope that helps

Hi I just bought an bm8000 combo but I have don't have a clue his to set up. Would love some help if possible. Thx

Hi County, or anyone else that can help?
I've installed the patched firmware. Accessed the hidden 9991 menu and inputted all the details my supplier has offered, address, port, username, password.
Clicked the red button for 'on', but it's still showing disconnected :(
Web connection is fine and hard plugged in, so I'm not even using wireless.

Is there something else that I am missing?

I've even rebooted a few times, thinking that might help, nit nothing.

I'm in the same boat ampat. First thing you need to do is download the firmware above and install.
Have you got a supplier yet?
