Hi all,
I bought a BM5000S from eBay.
I tried the guide on how to set-up the box, but the firmware wouldn't install, and gave me errors (Flash Type Match Error).
This is the current firmware:
Model ID:3,Ver:23.2.36560
Date: May 22 2015
Description: lX2476_S2,chip id: 609c310a
I can ping from the box, youtube doesn't work, although weather does?!
I got the channel list from Blade Online, can see all the FTA channels (as my sat cable is in) but any channel I goto with an $ just displays Scrambled Service.
My line provider see's me as connected, but not viewing any channels. My newcamd config shows a yellow box, it wont go green.
I've tried 3 different lines so far, all to the same outcome.
I noticed in my network settings, that the gateway and DNS were set wrong, so I corrected that. I even tracerouted the domains for the IPs and tried them instead.
I've added the lines via USB, manual & the web config.
I'm about to pull my hair out, and throw the box in the bin!
Please can someone shed some light on the subject?
Thanks,
