Boot the Box

When the box is booting does the network start because of Vix or in-spite of it.
The reason I ask is after a reboot I have to start the box network, via the menu. It doesn't start automatically.
I'm thinking along the lines of older pc operating systems that used autoexe.bat and config.sys. Is there something within Vix that starts the network when booting, something in the flash maybe.
I'm at a loss here

When you started the box for the first time it should have allocated an ip
address to your box when using start up wizard.

Go into the menu and information - network, check it has an ip address.

Also find the network settings in the menu, you can run tests or re run the wizard to check
everything is ok.

the network/internet should be auto detected if you have an ip address assigned to the box.
