Box Freezes (Not Picture)

I use Toshiba, but scandisk etc work well but dont buy on fleebay.

Can I ask where you got a 3tb canvio for £60? that seems cheap as the 1tb is £45-£50 and a 2tb is about £70 normally
 
It was 65.. wd outlet. My 4 tb came from there that i have on my shieldtv,never had a issue. The zgem lets it spin down...maybe ill swap em over..
 
press menu button on remote and then select Setup -> System -> Storage Devices -> Hard disk setup and check the settings. I have

Hard disk standby after 5 minutes
Hard disk standby in box standby after - same as in active
Use Harddisk Hardware Standby timer - no

I cant the hard drive isnt connected!
 
I suppose if it is still on I should plug hdd in leave epg and timesheet off then see. If it stays on do epg...then again after that timesheet.. ..see what causes freezy

Yep 32gb put in, same settings as you mate.
