box wont flash

hi, I recently bought a zegemma star 2s off the bay and it seems to have just died, the channels have gone and half the programs wont work, tried to re, flash and just says boot all the time.

any help on this would be great.

Sounds like you could have Re-Built with the Wrong Image?

channels have gone and half the programs wont work, yes. this is your SUBS and normal..
IPTV is way forward on the box, but will be slow on this box, better with the ZGEMMA H5.2S

The 2s is years old and was superceded by the almost identical looking H2s.
95% of all programs are now cannot be decrypted, and the box is in effect now a doorstop unfortunately.
BT Sport, Premier, eirSport still clear if your lucky to have a "line" provider who hasnt shut his server down.
Oh, and if you reflashed it and didnt back your line up, youve just wiped the file that decrypts the few remaining watchable channels, basically turning it into a Freeview box if you can get it to boot.

yes I know about all that, I only wonted it for IPTV anyway..

Try to flash without any other USB inserted ? ensure there's a file that says 'force'.

you need to open up the USB stick that you have the reflash on then change the file in there from noforce to force.like Bigdrinks said make sure there are no other USB's inserted in to the box other than the one youve used for flashing.what image are you actually running out of curiosity...i.e. wooshbuild,ipab?

start from scratch, format the usb stick, put the image on it then try again

done that AD29434 and it says the same boot.
