Maybe I am late to the party again
But I was just messing about on my smart tv and noticed there is the bt sports app now. I loaded in my details and it works
I dont know how long its been there, as I am sure I looked before and you needed a tv package to be able to have it on the tv
Maybe its just cos the football as finished, who knows
A quick google tells me you can now stream from a chromecast to the tv. Its also available on Samsung tvs, Apple tvs, and Xbox
